Episode Summary & Review

Summary

Bishop Heahmund is wracked with guilt as he fights to renounce his passions. Viking will clash with Saxon on the battlefield leaving a key figure lost in the balance.

Our Take

This is a solid midseason battle hour with some genuinely striking imagery, though the pacing sags whenever Heahmund’s inner conflict takes over. The combat scenes carry real weight and the cliffhanger lands hard enough to forgive the slower stretches. Worth watching if you’re already invested, but don’t expect the season’s peak.
