Episode Summary & Review
Summary
The race to finish the railroad comes down to inches, forcing all parties to contemplate the end of the line and what the future holds for them.
Our Take
A quiet, deliberate finale that trades big fireworks for reflection, which mostly suits the show’s gruff spirit. Cullen and the railroad gang get sendoffs that feel earned even if a few storylines wrap up too neatly. It drags in spots and won’t blow anyone away, but longtime viewers should walk away satisfied.
