Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Chang discovers Mei’s secret and forces her to flee Truckee. Meanwhile, Cullen’s search for her brings new realizations while exorcising old demons.
Our Take
A quieter, more introspective hour that finally forces Cullen to confront what he’s been running from, and Anson Mount does a lot with the silence. The Chang and Mei storyline feels rushed though, resolving a season’s worth of tension in a few scenes. Worth watching for the character work, even if the pacing sags in the middle.
