Summary
After a disastrous setback, Sato and Hayama strategize a way forward. Jake and Katagiri pursue their target, and try not to land in his crosshairs.
Our Take
A tense, quietly punishing hour that leans on consequence rather than action, and it’s better for it. Sato gets the episode’s best material as he’s forced to reckon with what his loyalty actually costs, while Jake and Katagiri’s investigation builds real dread out of small moments. Slow in a couple of spots, but the payoff in tension is worth your time.
