Jack and the Creature

Episode Summary & Review

Summary

Samurai Jack is unable to get rid of a large furry animal that insists on following him.

Our Take

A slow, mostly silent episode that leans on charm over action, and it mostly gets away with it. The creature’s dogged devotion is genuinely funny at first, though the middle stretch repeats the same joke a few too many times. The ending lands with real warmth, making this a pleasant detour even if it’s far from essential Jack.
