Our Take
This is the episode where the show’s deadpan spoofing starts to feel a little stretched, with Tobey Maguire’s escalating voiceover doing most of the heavy comedic lifting. Kristen Wiig gets some good material as Cynthia’s business blunders pile up, and the fake commercial breaks are still funny. Worth a watch if the style has hooked you already, but it’s more of the same rather than a step up.
