Our Take
This is the episode where the show’s deadpan silliness fully commits to the absurd, and the underwater institute scenes milk the cheap production gags for everything they’re worth. Wiig and Osment are clearly having a blast, though the joke-to-laugh ratio gets shaky in the middle stretch. Worth a watch if the show’s spoofy rhythm has worked for you so far, but it won’t convert anyone.
