Episode Summary & Review
Summary
After surviving Caligarious’ attempt to kill him and make it look like a drug overdose, Rock uses a clever pants analogy to convince Chip and Kermit to let him go. Everything becomes clear, but can Rock track down the killer in time?
Our Take
A shaggy, talky episode where the noir parody leans hard on Rock’s monologues and the pants bit, which is funnier than it has any right to be. The pacing drags in the middle stretch before the investigation kicks back in, but the cast’s deadpan commitment keeps it watchable. Worth it if you’ve come this far, though it’s not the strongest of the run.
