Summary
Rock confronts the man behind Fresno’s murder and is forced to decide whether he’ll live free as a jazz musician… and die the same way.
Our Take
The finale wraps up the murder mystery with a few decent gags, but the joke is wearing thin by this point, and the noir parody leans harder on repetition than invention. Still, the fake author framing stays funny and the cast commits to the bit. A mildly amusing close to a series that was always more chuckle than laugh. Fine if you’ve come this far.
