Summary
Kenny attends a BBQ at April and Terrence’s house where his romantic feelings for April intensify. Later, Stevie puts together a DVD of Kenny’s greatest moments in the hopes that the major leagues will notice.
Our Take
This one coasts on Danny McBride being Danny McBride, which is funny in stretches but starts to feel like the same joke on repeat. The BBQ scenes have a few good cringe moments, though the April storyline drags more than it should. Stevie’s DVD subplot is sweet but thin. A middling episode that’s fine to half-watch, not much more.
