Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Thanks largely to Terrence’s words, Kenny decides to give up on his dream of returning to professional baseball. Meanwhile, arrogant car dealer Ashley comes back into the picture, along with the player who ended Kenny’s career, Reg Mackworthy, whose own career has been sidelined thanks to gambling charges.
Our Take
This one feels like a setup hour, moving pieces into place without much payoff. Danny McBride is reliably funny as Kenny sulks his way toward retirement, and Reg Mackworthy’s arrival adds some real tension, but the Ashley subplot drags and the jokes land less often than usual. Worth watching if you’re already invested, just don’t expect the season’s best.
