Episode Summary & Review
Summary
The family goes to a new age fair and at one of the booths, Duckman meets his mother who’s been reincarnated as a “highly infectious germ”. He learns that if he parents his children correctly he won’t come back as germ, so he showers his kids with too much affection.
Our Take
A weirdly sweet episode for a show this hostile, and the mother-as-germ premise is exactly the kind of gag Duckman does best. The overcompensation storyline gets loud and repetitive in the middle stretch, but the underlying mother-son resentment lands harder than expected. Worth a watch for fans, though it’s more uncomfortable than funny in spots.
