Summary
As the disclaimer says at the beginning this episode is full “of heavy handed and over obvious allegory”, when for some children, Duckman and Cornfed search for what has become of a beautiful model named America.
Our Take
Duckman grabs a sledgehammer and swings it at American politics, and honestly the self-aware disclaimer at the top only half excuses the bluntness. The allegory lands in bursts, mostly thanks to Cornfed’s deadpan playing off Duckman’s escalating rants, but the middle stretch repeats its own joke too many times. Worth a look for fans, though it’s far from the season’s sharpest.
