Summary
Duckman, in search of his free clock radio, takes the family out to the desert. They wind up in a sleepy town where “King” Chicken is the sheriff and Duckman is put on trial for being a heretic.
Our Take
A weird, mean-spirited hour that leans hard into religious satire, and it mostly works because Duckman’s blustering arrogance collides perfectly with King Chicken’s smug small-town tyranny. The courtroom stuff drags a bit in the middle, but the escalating absurdity and a few genuinely sharp jabs at zealotry keep it watchable. Worth a look if you like the show at its most confrontational.
