Episode Summary & Review
Summary
A group of comedians hire Duckman to stop a pathetic mild mannered politically correct chicken whose “clean” stand up routine becomes a comedy sensation. The chicken’s routines are funny to everyone except Duckman, who soon discovers the source of his popularity.
Our Take
A pointed satire of bland, inoffensive comedy that still lands hard decades later, mostly because Duckman himself is the perfect angry foil for it. The episode gets a little repetitive once the central joke is established, but the voice work and bite carry it through. Worth a watch, especially if you’ve ever winced at a crowd-pleasing comedian.
