Summary
Duckman calls 911 in an emergency and falls in love with the voice on the other end of the line. When they meet, her looks leave a whole lot to be desired. Then she gets a complete makeover that changes her life.
Our Take
This one leans hard on a shallow premise, and the jokes about the woman’s looks get old fast. Jason Alexander sells the romantic desperation well enough, and there are a few sharp one-liners about beauty standards hiding under the cruelty. It’s an average midseason entry, watchable if you’re already a fan but skippable otherwise.
