Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Jack has Mary drive him to the doctor, but a prank results in him getting the same procedure twice; at school, Durbin and Helen embarrass themselves and the kids compete over class superlative titles.
Our Take
A middling episode that leans hard on Jack being a jerk to Mary, which produces a few good lines but mostly just feels repetitive. The superlatives subplot gives the kids something to do and Durbin’s humiliation has its moments. It passes the time fine, though nothing here is memorable enough to revisit.
