Summary
Principal Durbin takes it upon himself to help Jack advance his book with an appearance on Toledo’s morning TV show but lets his five minutes of fame get the best of him; the other teachers lead a competition within the Young Entrepreneurs Club.
Our Take
Durbin’s local TV meltdown is the episode’s engine and Patton Oswalt sells every cringe second of it, even if the plot runs out of gas before the last act. The Young Entrepreneurs subplot gets a few solid laughs from the supporting cast but feels like filler. A decent, disposable half hour that works fine in the background.
