Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Mason goes off the deep end and focuses his rage on the Byrdes. Ruth tries to make her dad proud during a boat part heist.
Our Take
A grim, tightly wound hour that leans hard on Mason’s unraveling, and Michael Mosley sells the grief-turned-fury without ever tipping into cartoon villainy. The boat heist gives Ruth some welcome grit, though the Snell subplot continues to drag. Heavy stuff, but it earns its darkness, and the final minutes land a punch worth sitting through the slower stretches for.
