Episode Summary & Review
Summary
An FBI search of the Snells’ field yields a surprise. Playing hardball, Agent Petty questions Wilkes. The Byrdes mourn a loss.
Our Take
A heavy hour that earns its grief. Linney and Bateman do quiet devastation better than shouting, and the funeral scenes hit hard without feeling manipulative. The Snell storyline drags a bit when it shifts to scheming, but Petty’s interrogation stuff crackles. Slow in patches, but the emotional weight sticks with you. Worth it for the last ten minutes alone.
