Summary
In the Season 5 premiere, Michael works with his old agency to go after the people who burned him in a case that leads the group to Venezuela.
Our Take
The season premiere shifts the show’s whole premise now that Michael is working with the agency instead of against it, and honestly the change sucks some tension out of things. The Venezuela setup feels more like housekeeping than a story, though Jeffrey Donovan still makes the spy mechanics fun to watch. A decent restart, just not a thrilling one.
