Summary
While mourning a tragic loss, Rhaenyra tries to hold the realm together, and Daemon prepares for war.
Our Take
A mostly quiet finale that trades battle spectacle for grief and political maneuvering, and it mostly works thanks to Emma D’Arcy, who carries every scene she’s in. The pacing drags a bit in the middle council scenes, but the final sequence lands hard and sets up season two well. Worth your time, even if you’re itching for the war to actually start.
