Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Returning the settlers to their home planet Novus, the Destiny crew discover the planet has been abandoned and on the verge of seismic destruction.
Our Take
A surprisingly emotional hour that works better than it should. The bulk of it is a clip-heavy look back at the settlers’ two thousand year history, which could have felt cheap, but the archival footage approach gives the Novus story a real sense of weight. The planet’s slow-motion collapse in the final act is genuinely eerie. Worth watching, even if the ending lands more sad than satisfying.
