In Finn and Jake’s holiday special, the heroes come across a video diary of the Ice King’s and attempt to decipher its secrets.
Our Take
A slow-burn holiday episode that’s mostly Finn and Jake goofing around with Ice King’s home videos, and the comedy bits are hit-or-miss. The real pull is the creeping sense that something darker is hiding under all the silliness, which keeps you watching even when the jokes stall. Worth it mostly for the setup, since the payoff arrives in part two.
