Summary
In part two of the holiday special, The Ice King tries to get his video diary back from Finn and Jake.
Our Take
The tapes-watching frame gets a bit sluggish in the middle, but the payoff is one of the show’s first real gut punches. Learning who the Ice King used to be reframes everything about him, and the sudden shift from silly holiday special to quiet tragedy lands hard. Worth it for the ending alone, even if the road there drags a little.
