Summary
Walt and Jesse put a business plan into action. Walt confesses a secret to Marie.
Our Take
The mobile cook: the fumigation company as cover. Walt and Jesse cooking inside houses being tented for termites, the equipment moving house to house, the empire decentralized and invisible. It’s peak show engineering: the plan’s absurd logistics made plausible by craft. And the domestic front detonates: Skyler, shattered by Ted’s accident and Walt’s return, walks into the pool. The marriage’s final act, protection performed as suicide attempt, is devastating.
