Summary
A shocking discovery unsettles Skyler; Walter Jr. leans on his father to make a special purchase; Mike gets surprise help from Jesse.
Our Take
“I am the one who knocks.” Skyler, unraveling, asks Walt to hand himself over to protect the kids; Walt responds with the series’ most famous monologue, and the show frames it perfectly: not as a threat to her but as a fantasy of himself, delivered to a wife whose face says she finally understands who she married. Meanwhile, the episode’s action plot (Jesse and Mike’s robbery gone clean) shows the crew’s competence rising as Walt’s control falls.
