Summary

Walt disregards Skyler’s demands and the rift between them widens dramatically, pushing her to take even more drastic steps. Meanwhile, continuing anxiety and panic attacks plague Hank, which leads to a serious situation at the Drug Enforcement Agency.

Our Take

Skyler retaliates for Walt’s refusal to sign the divorce papers with three initials: I.F.T. — I fucked Ted. It’s a knife delivered in a monotone, and the marriage’s cold war goes nuclear in the politest possible way. The episode’s real story is Walt’s: a man who’s lost his family pretending he hasn’t, cooking beside a partner (Gale) who genuinely adores him. It can’t last, and everyone knows it.
