Our Take
A quiet, strange hour that trades the games for something more melancholy, and it mostly pays off. The simulated Shibuya is eerie in a way the show rarely attempts, and the emotional beats land without feeling forced. It drags a bit in the middle stretch, but the ending earns its weight. Worth your time, even if you came for the death games.
