Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Chishiya recruits Arisu and Usagi to help him change the status quo. An unforeseen event rocks the fragile power dynamics of the Beach.
Our Take
This is a slow-burn hour where the scheming finally pays off, even if Chishiya’s recruitment scenes take longer than they need to. The card-game tension works and the ending genuinely shifts the power balance, which makes the setup worth sitting through. Not the season’s best, but it moves the pieces where they need to go.
