Summary
Enterprise is commandeered by Admiral Reeger to track down an alien ship.
Our Take
A tense, talky hour that mostly works because the guest admiral actually feels like a threat rather than a plot device. The cat-and-mouse stuff in the second half is genuinely gripping, though the first act stalls while everyone argues about chain of command. Pike gets sidelined more than I’d like, but the ending lands hard. Worth your time if you like the bottle-episode style.
