Hide and Seek

Episode Summary & Review

Summary

Picard and his crew fight for their lives as they come under attack from a new incarnation of an old enemy. But to survive, Picard must first face the ghosts of his past. Seven and Raffi have a final faceoff with Jurati.

Our Take

A busy penultimate hour that mostly delivers on action, with Seven and Jurati’s standoff the clear highlight and some genuine tension in the shipboard siege. The flashback material with young Picard feels like retreading ground the season already covered, and it slows things down right when the momentum should build. Worth watching for the character beats, but don’t expect the season’s bigger questions to get answered here.
