Summary
With time running out to save the future, Picard takes matters into his own hands and seeks out an old friend for help. Meanwhile, Rios ends up on the wrong side of the law and Jurati makes a deal with the Borg Queen.
Our Take
A slower, moodier hour that mostly works as a 2024 LA travelogue with an unsettling undercover Queen lurking in the background. The Rios immigration subplot is heavy-handed but gives Santiago Cabrera something to do, and Orla Brady grounds the Picard material nicely. Worth a watch, though it’s more setup than payoff.
