The Rave

Episode Summary & Review

Summary

Hanson, a do or die underling of Proctor, holds a rave in an Amish barn, selling homemade E pills stolen from his boss to Banshee youth, including Deva, Carrie’s rebellious daughter. Catching wind of the plan, Lucas and his team orchestrate a raid, but the effects of a tainted batch of pills send many revelers into convulsions, with one notable fatality. Though Deva is ferried home safely by Lucas, Hanson isn’t as fortunate when he returns to Kai’s mansion following the debacle.

Our Take

A messy, energetic hour that leans into the show’s pulpy strengths. The rave setup gives the cast room to breathe and the raid delivers some solid action beats, though the tainted pill subplot feels like an afterthought until it suddenly isn’t. Worth watching for the Proctor scenes alone, which continue to be the best thing here.
