Summary
Stanley refuses to go on a sales call with Dwight because the elevator is broke; Jim and Pam begin marriage counseling.
Our Take
A solid mid-tier episode carried by two things: the elevator gag gives Dwight and Stanley some genuinely funny physical comedy, and the Jim and Pam counseling storyline finally addresses the season’s cloud of tension head on. The B-plots mostly fill space, and the pacing sags in the middle. Worth watching for the emotional beats, even if the comedy around them is uneven.
