Summary
Frank finds himself in the child beauty pageant business and fears that people might think that he’s in it for the wrong reasons. Meanwhile, Dee wages war on stage moms; and Mac, Dennis and Charlie think they have found a contestant to back.
Our Take
This one leans hard on the ick factor, and how much you enjoy it depends on your tolerance for Frank being creepy on purpose. The guys coaching a child pageant contestant has some solid uncomfortable laughs, and Dee’s feud with the stage moms gives her good material, but the premise runs out of steam before the half hour does. Fine, just not top-shelf Sunny.
