Summary
Outie Mark contemplates the meaning of a message. Lumon grapples with the fallout of the Overtime Contingency.
Our Take
A slow-burn hour that leans hard on atmosphere over answers, and mostly gets away with it. Adam Scott does quiet dread better than almost anyone working in TV, and the Lumon-side scramble after the Overtime fallout has a nice paranoid energy. It drags a bit when the mystery-box teasing outweighs actual movement, but the closing stretch earns the wait. Worth your time, even if it’s more setup than payoff.
