Episode Summary & Review
Summary
As the school prepares for the Vice President’s visit, Dean Pelton organizes the first student elections. Annie, who is determined to win, is pitted in a tough battle against Jeff, Leonard and Star Burns. Meanwhile, Abed has noticed the secret service agents casing the school and develops a clandestine friendship with special agent Robin Vohlers.
Our Take
A solid mid-tier episode with some good gags, though the election premise never quite catches fire. Annie and Jeff’s rivalry gets a few laughs, but the stronger material comes from Abed’s quiet subplot with the secret service agent, which is surprisingly sweet. Worth a watch for fans, but it’s not one of the season’s standouts.
