Summary
Locked up in the zoo’s kennels, Gus meets his fellow hybrid prisoners as he looks for a way out. General Abbot pressures Dr. Singh to produce a cure.
Our Take
The season premiere settles into its new zoo setting well, giving Gus some genuinely affecting moments with the other captured hybrids. The Abbot and Singh storyline drags by comparison, relying on repeated threats we’ve already heard before. A solid setup hour that moves slowly but earns its emotional beats.
