Summary
To get Syd out of the maze of her endlessly repeated past, David must figure out why she’s there.
Our Take
This is a quieter, flashback-heavy hour that spends most of its time inside Syd’s childhood, and your patience for it depends on how invested you already are in her as a character. The young casting is strong and a few scenes land hard, but the looping structure drags in the middle stretches. Worth watching for the character work, just don’t expect the show’s usual energy.
