Summary
David finds a way for him and Syd to touch, and then goes off to rescue Amy on his own. Meanwhile, Cary realizes what the Devil is.
Our Take
This one splits its time awkwardly, with David’s solo rescue mission moving fast while the quieter therapy scenes do the heavy lifting. The visual tricks are still fun but they’re starting to feel like a party trick the show can’t stop doing. Cary’s realization about the parasite is the real payoff here. A decent middle chapter, though it leans on style over story.
