Summary
In a universe where the heroes of the MCU live in the Old West, Shang-Chi and his pistol packing partner, Kate Bishop, traverse the frontier, saving the innocent from the evils of The Hood.
Our Take
A fun genre swap that mostly coasts on its premise. The Western setting looks great and Shang-Chi and Kate Bishop make an easygoing pair, but the story underneath is thin and the villain barely registers. It’s a breezy, disposable half hour with a few nice visuals and not much else to chew on. Fine if you’re already watching the season, skippable otherwise.
