Summary
Confronting the events that turned her into “The Hangman” – and led to a decade long fight to survive in Arkham State Hospital – Sofia makes plans for a more hopeful future.
Our Take
A welcome pivot that hands the hour to Cristin Milioti, who makes Sofia’s unraveling feel genuinely tragic rather than just villain backstory. The Arkham stretch is grim and patient, occasionally to a fault, but the payoff lands hard and recontextualizes everything Oz has been doing. It’s the quietest episode so far and also the one that gives the season its spine.
