Our Take
A surprisingly somber episode for a Saturday morning cartoon, focusing on Rodimus Prime’s struggle with leadership he never asked for. The emotional beats land better than most G1 episodes, though the samurai subplot feels like padding. Worth a watch if you’ve been following the season, since it finally gives Rodimus some real character work.
