Our Take
A rare season 3 episode with an actual sense of menace, as the Quintessons’ buried creations turn out to be genuinely unsettling rather than just another robot of the week. The underground setting gives it a moodier feel than usual, though the plot still leans on characters making dumb decisions to keep things moving. Worth a look if you want G1 at its creepiest.
