Our Take
The premise here is genuinely bold for a kids’ show in 1985, with the Decepticons exploiting a religious belief system and the episode not shying away from the ugliness of that. The animation is rough even by G1 standards, and the Titan setting looks flat, but the ideas carry it. Worth a look if you want proof this show occasionally had ambition.
