Our Take
The season finale goes big with the Constructicons merging into Devastator, and honestly it’s still one of the coolest ideas the show ever had. The Optimus/Megatron duel is fun even if the animation flubs half the shots, and the pacing never sags. It’s sloppy in that classic G1 way, but a satisfying wrap to the season and worth the twenty minutes.
