Our Take
The three-parter ends on a genuinely high note, with the chaos of a planet in the sky finally paying off in big robot brawls and real stakes. The pacing barely lets up, and Megatron gets some of his best scheming of the season. Some animation goofs slip through, but as a climax to the show’s first big story, this is G1 at its most fun.
