Our Take
This is where the show stops messing around. Megatron’s plan actually feels dangerous, with Cybertron being dragged into Earth’s orbit and Sparkplug turned against the Autobots, which gives real weight to the fights. The animation gets sloppy in spots and some logic falls apart if you think about it, but the scale and tension make it the best hour season one has offered so far.
