Summary
Lauren develops new powers after listening to a music box that belonged to Andreas Von Strucker, while Marcos ends up making contact with Lorna again. Jace is forced to make a choice when a Purifier raid goes wrong, and Evangeline calls John to let her know the next step that she’s taking.
Our Take
A slow-building hour that spends most of its runtime setting up the endgame, and the pacing suffers for it. Lauren’s storyline gets the most interesting material, while the Marcos and Lorna scenes feel like they’re treading water. Jace finally hits a turning point that’s been a long time coming. Fine, but mostly table-setting.
